Getting an auto insurance is not easy for many. Some insurance agencies consider gender and driving history as material factors to the policy that will be offered to the consumer. But it is a fact that at one point or another, most drivers have found themselves in vehicular accidents, minor or otherwise. Another fact is that many women are wanting and learning how to drive. In the last three decades, there is an estimated 40% increase in the number of female drivers. This is almost twice as much as male drivers who only increased by about 24%. These reasons have compelled insurance agencies to move with the flow and offer cheaper auto insurance quotes for women drivers. Insurance quotes are even cheaper for women in their 40′s than men in the United Kingdom. Based on record, almost 92% of drivers involved in vehicular accidents are men. This means women drivers are perceived as more careful drivers and drive closer distances. This does not mean that women do not get into accidents. In fact, women drivers are likely to be involved in the same number of vehicular accidents as men. However, these are less serious and only minor injuries as sustained.
